The annual meeting of the GIP will take place within the Chemnitz Symposium on Inverse Problems, in 2020 as part of the annual meeting of the Deutsche Mathematiker-Vereinigung (DMV) in Chemnitz.

Background:
The Chemnitz Symposium on Inverse Problems was initiated by Bernd Hofmann in 2002 and has taken place annually since then, both in Chemnitz and various ‘on tour’ locations around the world. The Symposium is also traditionally an occation for young researchers to present their work to the community.
